Rice farmers in Sarabury Province in Thailand is constrationed by lack of appropriate technology for taro cultivation. A taro experiment was conducted with four levels of N of three different forms of N and three plant densities in acid sulphate soils of Bangkok plain under imgation. The results of the experiment reveal that the higher level of N application increases the final tuber yield by contributing mainly to the increase in tuber weight more than the tuber numbers. Plant density is highly correlated with the number of corms and cormels in the final yield. Normal urea granule has demonstrated its best performance relative to super granules and Osmocote in terms of number and weight increases. The leaf damage by Heliothis Armigera is influenced by higher plant density as well as by humid weather than any other factor
