Spatial Information Systems for Resource Management

 

Second Semester 2005


 

Description:     Fundamental, components and processes of spatial information systems including data acquisition, analyses and display. The spatial data structure, spatial analyses, system planning and implementing for agricultural planning and resource management. Laboratory works involve the hand-on experience in processes of spatial information system using microcomputer based software and real world data.

Lecture hours:  T, Th. 11-12 a.m., MCC Lecture Room 4.

 

Practicum: Thursday 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., MCC Computer Lab.

                        Work with exercises using ArcGIS.
